About the Role
The Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) at Waitākere Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse, skilled in neonatal care and who will be an excellent fit with their team, to join them on a full time, fixed term basis covering a staff member on parental leave.

Health New Zealand Waitematā SCBU provides care for babies born as early as 32 weeks, and as small as 1500g, who require neonatal support. We are dedicated to providing a nurturing and supportive learning environment, pride ourselves on our team culture and values, and on the excellent nursing care we provide in partnership to infants and their families. About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- a current APC with the NZ Nursing Council
- Experience working in neonatal care.
- Demonstrated effective team work
- Knowledge of Whanau centered care principles and demonstrated ability to apply this into practice
