An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Waitemata Central Staffing Team (Bureau) as the Associate Clinical Charge Nurse / Educator of the team.

You will support the Work Force Central teams in a clinical environment, you will also develop and deliver education programs to support the learning/teaching priorities for The Waitemata Central staffing teams –including Bureau RN’s, Bureau HCA’s, Transit Care Nurses at Health NZ Waitematā.

As a role model the ACCN/Educator is instrumental in creating a professional nursing climate to meet the needs of individual practice settings, the wider organisation and discipline, patients and whānau.

The ACCN /educator will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining a high standard of nursing care provided by nurses, within the Waitemata Central staffing teams, through recruitment, onboarding, preparation and ongoing education.The environment is one of continuous change, and you will need to be an advocate for the organisation’s strategic direction and change programmes while providing education that enables this.

Waitemata Central is responsible for the effective operational management of the 24 hours / 7 days hospital service delivery at both North Shore and Waitakere Hospitals. Waitemata Central support clinical teams, systems, processes and resources that facilitate safe and effective service delivery across the organisation.
