We are looking for an experienced, Clinical Nurse Specialist with a background in Cardiology, Cardiology Procedures or similar to join our friendly and dynamic team at Cardiology Procedures.
Our department is a fast paced environment which provides superior quality patient care to patients with a variety of complex cardiac conditions undergoing cardiology procedures such as ETT, CTCA, ESE, DSE and TOE.
As part of the greater cardiology service at Waitemata DHB, you will work closely with patients, their families and staff within Cardiology.
We are looking for someone who self-directed and enthusiastic about providing quality care to our patients, and who is keen to grow their career, the following is required:
- At least five years post registration practice in a Cardiac specialty
- Post Graduate Certificate/ Diploma in a clinical specialty and clinical leadership
- Achieved RN Level 3 (RN 4 preferred) in a cardiology clinical practice role, with current portfolio
- Acute care clinical practice with cardiology patients who have complex clinical health needs
- Experience in clinical professional leadership role
- Experience in working in an acute inpatient unit or other relevant area within a large or complex organization
